The Outsider – Stephen King

This is my favorite book because it starts like a normal mystery. A terrible crime happens, and everyone thinks they already know who did it. But then something impossible begins to happen.

Imagine you found footprints in the mud that belong to your friend... but at the exact same time your friend was in another city. How can both things be true? That is the big question in the story.

As the characters search for answers, they discover that not everything in the world can be explained. There may be something strange hiding in the shadows, watching people and pretending to be someone else.

I like this book because it makes me think, keeps me guessing, and reminds me that sometimes the biggest mysteries aren't about monsters. They're about discovering what is really true.
